Nero 6 non masterizza più

Uso Windows XP su un laptop Acer Travelmate 2420, con masterizzatore DVD HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4082N (credo che sia LG).
Da un momento all'altro non masterizza più i soliti DVD vergini, e nemmeno quelli di altre marche.
Era come se il computer non "vedesse" più i dvd vergini che inserivo, anche se leggeva perfettamente cd e cd rom.
Ho provato a installare e disinstallare Nero 6. Ora "vede" i dvd, ma quando provo a masterizzare il processo si blocca all'1% e poi la masterizzazione fallisce.

Ho consultato il vostro archivio e ho visto che in alcuni casi simili avete consigliato di aggiornare il Firmware, ma prima di provarci volevo sapere che ne pensate.

hai provato a cambiare programma di masterizzazione per effettuare delle prove?
potresti provare per esempio con deep burner

in tutta la carriera non ho mai visto niente di simile. Tra l'altro Nero nonostante tutto è abbastanza buono e non mi ha mai dato particolari problemi.
E' chiaro che i problemi sono o hardware o software.
Gio1973 giustamente ti ha consigliato di provare cambiando software di masterizzazione. Se non ha funzionato escluderei un problema di tipo software quindi ricadrei sull'hardware, forse hai qualche problema al masterizzatore.
Non credo sia un problema di firmware visto che spesso specialmente nei portatili i componenti sono super testati già con il firmware che montano quando esce di fabbrica.
Al di là della scrittura, riesci a leggere dvd, cd senza problemi ?

ho provato con cd rom (dizionari), dvd e cd musicali e legge tutto senza problemi. Aggiungo che anche con Deepburner "vede" il dvd vergine inserito, apparentemente inizia la masterizzazione ma poi si blocca e dà "errore".
Tra l'altro il laptop ha poco più di un anno...
Comincio a temere di dovere sostituire il masterizzatore.

Ho anche provato a masterizzare cd audio (con Deepburner): con quelli funziona...
Pare che il problema ce l'abbia solo con la masterizzazione di dvd, allora.

ciao! figurati, siete anche troppo gentili...
Attualmente ho su Nero 7 premium, ho provato anche con quello, riconosce i dvd, inizia a masterizzare ma a 3% si blocca e mi è toccato riavviare il laptop: comunque ho fatto un solo tentativo. Ho ancora su anche Deepburner, dovrei toglierlo, secondo te? Tieni presente che quando il masterizzatore ha iniziato a darmi problemi avevo solo Nero 6... tra l'altro il masterizzatore ha poco più di un anno.

Secondo me le applicazioni di masterizzazione vanno in conflitto quindi toglile tutte tranne una e riprova a masterizzare

ho provato. Niente. Il laptop non "sente" il dvd, quindi non si apre la finestra che normalmente ti chiede "cosa vuoi fare di questo dvd". Allora ho aperto Nero 7, ho scelto di masterizzare un DVD, ho aggiunto i file da masterizzare nella finestra e una volta premuto il tasto "Avanti" mi sono trovata nella finestra in cui avrei dovuto premere il pulsante "Burn", peccato che non era attivo... :-(

ciao, sono nuovo, ma cavolo..........ho trovato questo forum cercando soluzioni per il mio masterizzatore. HO ANCH?IO UN TRAVELMATE 2420 CON LO SS MASTERIZZATORE E UNA SETTIMANA FA HO AVUTO LO SS IDENTICO PROBLEMA. Anch'io nn so piu che pesci pigliare.........ma la soluzione è stata trovata percaso o no. Sono in crisi nera. Ho appurato che nn ho starforce installati, i cd li copia, ma i dischi dati e i dvd nn va oltre il 2%. ho nero 7 ed NTI, ma nn ho mai avuto nessun problema, mai bruciato un DVD.........e ora.............AIUTOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

purtroppo alla fine ho dovuto sostituire il masterizzatore... pare che fosse rotto. Aveva solo un anno e mezzo di vita, purtroppo. Dopo aver letto il tuo post mi viene da pensare che sia stata una partita "difettosa"...

come rotto? così dal nulla? e tu hai cambiato proprio il masterizzatore interno o ne hai preso uno esterno? l'hai pagato molto e dove lo hai preso alla acer? cavolo
