dopo aver superato le difficolta' sulle "virtual directory" grazie a Ricciolo e all'articolo

ho appena avuto conferma ufficiale sul fatto che l'IDE di VS 2005 ha difficolta' a gestire i percorsi assoluti statici nelle master page quando si apre il progetto dal file system.
Ad esempio, se si inserisce un elemento html statico come
<img src="/images/logo.gif">
il design editor non riesce a vedere il file (tanto nella master page che nelle pagine che la utilizzano).
Il problema e' puramente di editing e non si manifesta (per ovvie ragioni) quando si visualizza la pagina nel browser.
La risposta ufficiale (Scott Guthrie) e' la seguente:

Unfortunately the VS designer has issues with the absolute root path when you open up the project as a file-system web (we are going to be fixing that in a future QFE fix).
In the meantime, if you open the project up as an IIS web project things will work just fine (both at runtime and in the VS designer).
