Salve a tutti,
Ho un piccolo server locale basato su IIS.
Volevo provare ad installare DotNetNuke, ma ho qualche problema.
Allora,

Ho scaricato lo starter kit dal sito ufficiale, apro il file con vs2005, e tutto fila liscio.
Ok, ma ora è inutilizzabile poichè da remoto non lo vedo... posso usarlo solo in locale, e che ci faccio?
Bene, allora ho fatto un nuovo progetto con vs2005 e ho messo di creare i file direttamente in intetpub/wwwroot (la cartella principale del sito web di IIS), ma incontro diversi problemi.
In particolare, mi da questo errore: dice che non ho installate le estensioni di frontpage... ma che cavolo c' entrano adesso le estensioni di frontpage O_O?
Vabe... allora ho pensato a mettere semplicemente direttamente la cartella fisica e provare a compilare... beh, mi da quest' altro errore:

Error 1 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. H:\Inetpub\kappaPI\DotNetNuke Website1\web.config 55

...

ora funziona... *_*...

Già che ci sono, ho un altro piccolo problema (e ti pareva)...
In pratica, durante l' installazione di IIS esce questo errore:

File H:\Inetpub\kappaPI\Portals\_default\\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources
Error Access to the path 'H:\Inetpub\kappaPI\Portals\_default\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources' is denied. The Windows User Account listed below must have Read/Write Privileges to this path.

Ma io ho dato tutti i privilegi di lettura e scrittura!
Che sbaglio?

Allora, non so come ma ci sono riuscito a installarlo.
Ma da ancora altri problemi, dice che il file di database è read-only, ma non è così!
A quanto pare ci sono problemi sulla gestione della scrittura/lettura... come risolvo?

Inoltre dice che la password e l' user ID per il database probabilmente sono sbagliati... ma io uso SQL Server 2005 Express!!!
Che fare?
Non ci sto capendo più nulla...

il bello è che se mi connetto al portale tramite il debug di visual studio fila tutto liscio...
se invece da una normale finestra di un browser punto al mio IP dice che non riesce a connettersi al database:
ERROR: Could not connect to database.

Unable to open the physical file "H:\Inetpub\wwwroot\App_Data\Database.mdf". Operating system error 32: "32(Impossibile accedere al file. Il file è utilizzato da un altro processo.)". An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file H:\Inetpub\wwwroot\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

Bah...
